January is right around the corner and one of the main things that is bound to arise is the question of what your New Year’s resolution is. Most people will rely on weight loss and making more money, but you could easily stand out among the crowd and say that you plan on decluttering your home by utilizing the benefits of self-storage.

We know you have a limited amount of time in the day to get things done, so that is why we have created a five-month kick start to getting your clutter into a self-storage unit this year.

January Says Goodbye to Christmas!

By now, your home probably looks like a holiday battleground. With decorations, wrapping paper and new gifts cluttering up your home, it may be time to think about renting a storage unit in Plano to use as your holiday workshop. Take the time to go through the new gifts you received, as well as the ones they may be replacing. Can you sell your old items? Will you put them into storage and re-use them? Think about this question before your first month of 2018 ends.

If you are a younger person that is trying to declutter, now is the time to get rid of your old love letters, photos, and items given to you by people who may no longer hold that special sentimental aspect of your heart anymore. If you plan on re-visiting these items for nostalgia, we suggest you pack them up carefully and place them in storage where they are out of sight and out of mind…at least until that next big break-up.
